Biography

Catalytic Faith encourages missional partnerships and initiatives throughout the world through biblical-spiritual formation and intentional generational-transference of leadership.

The primary author, Ken Castor, is a pastor-teacher-writer-husband-dad-student-legomaster-networker-catalyst-coffeejunkie-cubsfan who has been blogging on this site since 2005. Ken is presently planted in the Minneapolis region as a faculty member of Crown College. His aim is to catalyze a next generation of Jesus Followers- by practicing Ephesians 3:14-21:rooted:deeper:alive in Jesus. Ken completed his doctoral dissertation focused on generational transference of leadership within local churches. He has had the privilege of teaching and partnering in ministry directly in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. If God kicks him into gear... he's got a book manuscript on raw spiritual leadership based on Colossians 2:6-7 that he's just dying to get out there. Feel free to give him a kick too!

God's blessed Ken with an amazing wife, two incredible boys and an amazing little girl. Ken Castor was born in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1972. After completing Snider High School in Fort Wayne, IN, in 1990, Ken earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Christian Education at Taylor University in Upland, IN, in 1994. He earned a Master’s of Divinity degree from Regent College in Vancouver, BC, in May of 2000. Ken earned his Doctorate of Ministry from Trinity Western University / ACTS Seminaries in Langley, BC, in April of 2010. For twenty years, Ken has served as a pastoral catalyst in various churches and para-churches throughout North America, focusing his efforts on the development of next generation ministry leaders. At the end of it all, Ken's prayer is to be a part of a growing network of people residing with Christ.
